Brotherhood, independence & family is rooted deep in ireland

Join Linked Dance Theatre for a new work that looks closely at the lives of two brothers in Dublin and the relationships they create after a tragedy. Set in the mid 90's, this site specific work sings to a new tune of historiography that can be demonstrated by the moving/dancing body. It pays homage to a complex country's heritage with live Irish music and a few traditional Irish steps mixed with post modern dance.

This never was my town,I was not born or bredNor schooled here and she will notHave me alive or deadBut yet she holds my mindWith her seedy elegance,With her gentle veils of rainAnd all her ghosts that walkAnd all that hide behindHer Georgian facades –The catcalls and the pain,The glamour of her squalor,The bravado of her talk.
